Noles in the Pros: At the Midway Point

With the midway point of the NFL season upon us, let’s take a look and see how former Florida State players are doing in the NFL right now.

Atlanta (6-3)

Devonta Freeman, RB: Has started all nine games for the Falcons. Freeman has rushed 133 times for 620 yards (4.7 yards per attempt) and three touchdowns. He has also caught 22 passes for 220 yards and two scores as well.

Baltimore Ravens (4-4)

Timmy Jernigan, DL: Has started all eight games for the Ravens along the defensive line. Jernigan has recorded 11 tackles, 13 assists, four sacks, one forced fumble, three pass deflections, and an interception.

Buffalo Bills (4-5)

EJ Manuel, QB: Has played in four games for the Bills. Manuel has completed 2/5 passes for 45 yards and added 13 yards on the ground.

Garrison Sanborn, LS: Has played in all nine games for the Bills and has handled all long snapping duties.

Nick O’Leary, TE: Has played in all nine games and started two for the Bills. O’Leary has caught seven passes for 94 yards (13.4 average).

Ronald Darby, CB: Has played and started eight games for the Bills. Darby has totaled 35 tackles, three assists and nine pass deflections.

Carolina Panthers (3-5)

Graham Gano, K: Has made 14/18 field goal attempts and 18/20 extra point attempts.

Kelvin Benjamin, WR: Played in all eight games and has started six for the Panthers. Benjamin has recorded 36 catches for 543 yards (15.1 average) and four touchdowns in his first season back from a torn ACL.

Chicago Bears (2-6)

Christian Jones, LB: Played in all eight games and started two for the Bears. He has contributed four tackles, one assist and one pass deflection.

Eddie Goldman, DL: Has started two games for the Bears and has been sidelined since Week 2 with a high ankle sprain. In those two games, Goldman made three tackles, four assists and half a sack.

Cleveland Browns (0-9)

Cam Erving, OL: Has played in six games and started those six games for the Browns at center.

Nile Lawrence-Stample, DL: Was placed on IR with a shoulder injury and has not played this season.

Denver Broncos (6-3)

Dekoda Watson, LB: Has played in all nine games, mostly on special teams, and has made two tackles.

Detroit Lions (5-4)

Anquan Boldin, WR: Has started all nine games for the Lions. Boldin has recorded 35 catches for 286 yards (8.2 average) and five touchdowns.

Green Bay Packers (4-4)

Letroy Guion, DL: Has played in seven games and started those seven games along the defensive line for the Packers. Guion has recorded eight tackles, four assists and one pass deflection.

Indianapolis Colts (4-5)

Antonio Cromartie*, CB: Started four games for the Colts, but was released during the season. During his time with the Colts, Cromartie contributed 14 tackles and two pass deflections.

Patrick Robinson, CB: Has played in six games and started five of those for the Colts. Robinson has recorded 16 tackles, seven assists, four pass deflections and one forced fumble.

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6)

Jalen Ramsey, CB: Has started all eight games for the Jaguars. Ramsey has contributed 25 tackles, seven assists and one pass deflection.

Telvin Smith, LB: Has started all eight games for the Jaguars. Smith has recorded 54 tackles, 11 assists and four pass deflections.

Rashad Greene, WR: Has played in five games. Greene has recorded five receptions for 32 yards. Greene has also returned 15 punts for 106 yards (7.1 average) with a long of 42.

Kansas City Chiefs (6-2)

Terrance Smith, LB: Has played in one game for the Chiefs on special teams.

Los Angeles Rams (3-5)

Lamarcus Joyner, LB: Has played in eight games and started four of those for the Rams. Joyner has recorded 37 tackles, eight assists, four pass deflections and one forced fumble.

Minnesota Vikings (5-3)

Xavier Rhodes, CB: Has started six games for the Vikings. Rhodes has contributed 17 tackles, three assists, seven pass deflections, two interceptions and one forced fumble.

New England Patriots (7-1)

Tre’ Jackson, OL: Currently on the PUP list with a knee injury and has not played this year.

New Orleans Saints (4-4)

P.J. Williams, CB: Was placed on IR after suffering a severe concussion in Week 2. Williams started the first two games and contributed five tackles, two assists and two pass deflections.

New York Giants (5-3)

Bobby Hart, OL: Has played in seven games and started six of those for the Giants.

Oakland Raiders (7-2)

Mario Edwards Jr., DL: Has been on IR with a left hip strain and has not played this year.

Menelik Watson, OL: Has played in three games and started two of those for the Raiders.

Rodney Hudson, OL: Has started all nine games for the Raiders at center.

Sebastian Janikowski, K: Has made 16/22 field goal attempts and 23/23 extra point attempts on the year.

Philadelphia Eagles (4-4)

Nigel Bradham, LB: Has started eight games for the Eagles. Bradham has contributed 35 tackles, 17 assists, one interception, four pass deflections, and one sack.

Terrence Brooks, S: Has played in five games for the Eagles on special teams.

Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4)

Lawrence Timmons, LB: Has started eight games for the Steelers. Timmons has contributed 39 tackles, 18 assists, three pass deflections and half a sack.

Vince Williams, LB: Has played in eight games and started four for the Steelers. Williams has contributed 32 tackles, seven assists and two sacks.

San Francisco 49ers (1-7)

Christian Ponder, QB: Has not played yet this season.

Tank Carradine, DL: Has played in eight games and contributed five tackles.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5)

Antone Smith, RB: Currently on IR with a knee injury. Played in three games when healthy, rushing 10 times for 47 yards and catching six passes for 77 yards.

Jameis Winston, QB: Has started all eight games for the Bucs. Winston has completed 59.2% of his passes (181/306) for 2,037 yards and 17 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. Has also rushed for 79 yards and one score.

Roberto Aguayo, K: Has made 7/12 field goal attempts and 15/17 extra point attempts on the season.

Tennessee Titans (4-5)

Josue Matias, OL: Currently on IR with a knee injury and has not played this season.

Washington Redskins (4-3-1)

Chris Thompson, RB: Has played in all eight games. Thompson has rushed 45 times for 207 yards (4.6 average) and one touchdown. Has also caught 27 passes for 211 yards (7.8 average) and one score.

Dustin Hopkins, K: Has made 18/22 field goal attempts and 18/19 extra point attempts on the season.
