VIDEO: Is Jimbo Fisher being too conservative offensively?

Former Florida State great Bryant McFadden discusses whether the `Noles are being too conservative on offense. He points to the fact the FSU has a freshman quarterback, saying that basically isn’t ready for enhanced playcalling. Blackman is one of the few players who has given the Seminoles a chance in the fourth quarter during the games against Wake Forest and Miami.

Head coach Jimbo Fisher has severely dialed back the passing offense over the past few weeks. The short passing game he’s implemented for Blackman simply isn’t very successful. FSU’s wide receivers are inconsistent with their blocking, which stops many of the bubble screens in their tracks. Fisher should call the plays he’s been forced to draw up in the fourth quarter, that is when Blackman has clearly been at his best.

Check out the video below. Do you agree Florida State fans? Is Fisher being too conservative or is he just trying to ease his freshman quarterback into games?
