Analyzing Andrew Boselli’s potential Impact

It’s been confirmed by 247Sports writer Brendan Sonnone that former FSU offensive lineman Andrew Boselli is returning to the team in a walk-on role this upcoming season.

NoleGameday reported earlier in January that Boselli had participated in a walk-on tryout that the Seminoles held. It sounds like he performed well enough to get back on the team.

The former scholarship lineman has good bloodlines as his father is Jaguar legend Tony Boselli. He has been coached well and has the perfect body type to play inside in this scheme. The fact that he’s a walk-on is a good thing for the ‘Noles as they’re getting a D1 lineman free of charge and he’ll provide good depth.

The Jacksonville native also already has some familiarity with the coaching staff since he left after the new regime took over. Hopefully, that gives him an advantage in his readjustment to collegiate football.

Boselli was a three-star recruit coming out of high school and played center in 2016-17. He should have two years of eligibility remaining. Expect the ‘Noles to keep adding to this group by way of graduate transfers- mainly RJ Proctor from UVA and Parker Braun from Georgia Tech.
