Former FSU LB Telvin Smith Lands In the NFL Top 100 Players List for 2018

Florida State Football Alumni and 2013 BCS National Champion Telvin Smith came in at No. 67 in the NFL’s Top 100 Players List for 2018. The former fifth-round selection recorded a combined 102 tackles, 26 assisted tackles, and one sack in his 4th season for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In 2018 the outside linebacker joined former FSU safety Jalen Ramsey in his first Pro-Bowl appearance and was named 2nd Team All-Pro by the Associated Press.

During his four-year tenure from 2010 to 2013 in Tallahassee, Smith tallied 139 solo tackles and 29 tackles for loss on 4 interceptions. Smith played a vital role for the Seminoles in the 2013 National Title game where he collected a career-best 15 tackles and led FSU to a 34-31 victory over the Auburn Tigers. The Valdosta, Ga native was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars as the 144th overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft.
