FSU commit delivers huge hit

Florida State is looking to bring in one of the top classes in the country during the 2019 recruiting cycle. The Seminoles currently have 16 commits which have garnered them as the No. 8 class in the nation according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings.

Many of the `Noles commits are underrated players who should rise as their senior season’s progress. One of those players, four-star cornerback Travis Jay, might be the most underrated of them all. Jay is currently rated as the No. 237 overall prospect and the No. 24 cornerback in the country.

The Madison County product is athletic, can cover, and he can bring the wood. Jay showed off some of his hitting ability during the Cowboys game on Friday against Florida High.

He’ll follow in the footsteps of Seminole greats like Jacobbi McDaniel and Chris Thompson once he arrives in Tallahassee, just a short drive down the road from Madison.
