Get ready Seminole fans, it’s almost time to get your first look at Willie Taggart on the sideline. The first-year head coach has been hard at work trying to assemble his staff while recruiting. Now, we’ll get to see how he uses the talent at his disposal.

According to Ira Schoffel of Warchant, Florida State will play their 2018 spring game on Saturday, April 14.

The game is expected to be heavily attended by `Noles fans who will be getting their first glance of an almost entirely new coaching staff in action. The exhibition will also allow fans to see how FSU’s current players begin to transition into the gulf coast offense.

However, the weekend won’t just be about football. For the first time since 2013, and we all know what happened that year, a home baseball series will coincide with the spring game. FSU and Duke will play their second game of the series on April 14 at 6 p.m. which could mean an afternoon start for the Taggart Era.

These are the attendance numbers for the last four spring games.

2014: 36,500

2015: 17,250

2016 (Orlando): 50,000

2017: 26,649

What do you think Florida State fans? Will the 2018 spring game set a new FSU record for attendance?
