VIDEO: Closer look at FSU’s newest QB

FSU fans received some good news as dual-threat QB Jordan Travis has transferred from Louisville to Florida State. The former 247 composite 3-star had 12 offers coming out of high school including Baylor, Georgia, and UNC. Due to bad blood at the end of the Petrino regime, the freshman transfer might even be granted an NCAA waiver for immediate eligibility.

Following his senior year at Benjamin High school in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Travis committed to Louisville. Travis played sparingly in 3 games at Louisville this past year. He finished with 40 rushing yards and 71 in the air. His high school highlights displayed a lot of athleticism and the ability to throw on the run. If nothing else, this addition will provide much-needed depth at a crucial position.
