VIDEO: Florida State’s top plays from March Madness

It hasn’t even been a month since Florida State was eliminated by Michigan in the Elite-8. Honestly, I’m still pretty upset about it. The Seminoles played pretty well on the defensive end of the floor throughout their run. However, the offense was sporadic and relied mostly on the defense to create easy opportunities.

Those easy baskets and the outside shooting dried up against a stout Michigan defense. FSU fought valiantly and came up just short, falling 58-54. It was still one of the `Noles deepest ventures into the postseason in school history and was their best since 1993.

There also a ton of positives for Florida State. The Seminoles are projected to return 10-11 players. Phil Cofer is still waiting to hear back on his waiver for a fifth season. CJ Walker transferred to Ohio State but the coaching staff quickly replaced him with David Nichols. The grad-transfer guard from Albany averaged 14.6 points and 3.5 assists last season.
