WATCH: Brian Burns discusses impact of FSU Football

Florida State football is in peak offseason mode but the season is slowly creeping up on us from around the corner. Some players are in Tallahassee working out while others are doing some useful extracurricular activities.

Rising junior defensive end Brian Burns and Darvin Taylor, who was medically disqualified in February, traveled to Washington, DC to speak on FSU’s Leaders Yearning for Excellence. Burns described how the coaches want the `Noles to perform off of the field.

“They want you to be a better person in this world,” Burns said with Taylor to his left. “They inspire me to become more than just a football player and I really appreciate that from the bottom of my heart.”

The 6-foot-5, 227-pound defensive end has a chance to develop into one of Florida State’s top defenders and an early-round draft choice in 2018 with his performance. Watch the full clip of Burns and Taylor below.
