Commitment Impact: Ja’Khi Douglas is a ‘Nole

*Jeremiah Zanders contributed to this report.
FSU is still adding to its recruiting class even during the NCAA Dead period and they really landed a stud on the 4th of July. Ja’Khi Douglas is a consensus four-star player and an electric slot receiver. He stands at around 5’10” and 190 pounds to go along with an almost 40′ vertical and a certified 4.4 in the forty-yard dash.
Douglas is a speedster on film, making plays from the slot, backfield, and special teams. He displays excellent hands and agility as well. The Louisiana WR is a coup for Ron Dugans and they hope to add a couple more this cycle especially after not signing any last year. He and current commit Malachi Wideman provide an excellent start to the receiver class at this stage. This was a much-needed boost to FSU’s recruiting and there’s no doubt the staff will try to continue this momentum- especially with Saturday Night Live coming at the end of the month.
