Commitment Impact: Josh Griffis is a ‘Nole!

The ‘Noles have some momentum in recruiting once again.

Today longtime target Josh Griffis decided to commit to FSU over Georgia Tech, Penn State amongst others.

The three-star prospect is a pass rushing specialist from the famed IMG Academy who has an extremely high floor and has a frame (6’5 240) that can be easily added upon. His work ethic is undeniable and he’ll be a great addition to the defensive end room and has the potential to contribute at linebacker as well. Also as a rising senior in high school, he can already bench 440 pounds. FSU can definitely work with that type of strength.

The Florida native is currently ranked as the No. 705 overall prospect and the No. 26 WDE in the 2020 class by the 247 Sports Composite rankings. Griffis has already formed connections with many members of #Tribe20 and will now put on his recruiting cap just like QB1 Jeff Simms and Zane Herring.

Now that Griffis is officially in the fold look for FSU to continue to push for other targets like Chantz Williams and William Anderson amongst others.
