Dwayne Bacon Arrives

Five star shooting guard and FSU signee Dwayne Bacon arrived on campus in Tallahassee today. Bacon is the fifth and final member of FSU’s 2015 class, which was ranked 8th in the nation by 247 Sport’s Composite Rankings, to arrive at FSU. Bacon, who was the 17th ranked recruit in the nation joins SG Malik Beasley (37th overall), CG Terance Mann (96th overall), C Christ Koumajde (297th overall), and JUCO CG Benji Bell as the newcomers in the FSU program.

This group of talented youngsters will attempt to form the right chemistry with a solid group of returning players that includes Freshman All- American point guard Xavier Rathan- Mayes, talented forwards Montay Brandon, Phil Cofer, and Jarquez Smith, and seven footers Michael Ojo and Boris Bojanovsky. FSU will strive to improve on an inconsistent 2014-2015 campaign that saw FSU put up a modest record of 17-16. With the new additions to the program there is no doubt that the talent is there to do just that.
