Logan Tyler today announced his intentions to transfer to Arizona State University. The former Florida State punter was a 3-star recruit coming out of high school and was a part of the high regarded 2016 recruiting class. During his time at Florida State, Tyler averaged 42 yards per punt, with his longest career punt at 61 yards. In 2019, he only participated in one game and averaged 44 yards on 7 punts.

Tyler was dismissed from the Florida State program and ultimately entered the portal after the Boise State game in 2019. It later came out that he was implicated in a DUI case. Regardless, Herm Edwards and the Arizona State staff has seen fit to offer Tyler another opportunity at collegiate football. Tyler will be on scholarship at ASU and will take over punting, kickoff, and place holding duties for the Sun Devils.

On behalf of everyone at NoleGameday, we wish him all the best of luck during his next chapter.
