Kendal Briles, Blackman have heated conversation on sideline

Florida State lost to Florida for the second season in a row, falling 40-17 in Gainesville on Saturday night. It was a struggle throughout as the Seminoles showed some signs of life on offense at times but at others looked completely lost. Let’s not talk about the defense. The Gators finished with eight sacks, including three on three straight plays in the fourth quarter.

FSU QB James Blackman had a decent game, finishing 14/23 for 150 passing yards but he was endlessly pounded into the turf. Blackman and offensive coordinator Kendal Briles got into it on the sideline in the final frame. It looked like Briles was upset that Blackman hadn’t snapped the ball quick enough and yelled at his signal-caller.

Briles was quick to walk over to Blackman and have a longer conversation with the QB where the two ironed things out.
