No fans at at least one FSU conference game in 2020

There are many options being discussed as it pertains to college football in 2020. The B1G 10 has already pulled the trigger and moved to conference-only games for the year, and the Ivy League has completely canceled sports until further notice. Today, news broke pertaining to the fate of at least one of these games broke in one of the states most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brett McMurphy of “Stadium” broke the news regarding the state of New York and fans at sporting events.

This means, at least for the time being, that there will be no fans at the FSU versus Syracuse game. This is an option that will most likely continue to be further explored by other programs and conferences in an effort to play football this fall. There is no official word on the rest of Florida State’s games, but this could be an avenue that is taken.
