Noles In The Pros: Darby continues to lead Bills’ secondary

Bills’ cornerback Ronald Darby had another impressive performance against the Miami Dolphins Sunday. The rookie had a career game leading the Bill’s defense with 10 solo tackles.

Darby has proved himself as a valuable member of the Buffalo secondary. Through eight weeks of football Darby has garnered 44 tackles, 15 passes defended and two interceptions.

The National Football League named Darby Defensive Rookie of the Month for the month of September. In addition to those accolades, Darby was also listed as a top candidate for Rookie of the Year back in week six.

Per “Around the NFL” of www.NFL.com , Darby was listed as the No. 2 candidate for Rookie of the Year behind St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley. If Darby continues to play the way he has been playing the last few weeks, he can make his case as the leader of the Bills’ secondary and Rookie of the year.
