Phil Cofer didn’t play in Florida State’s 79-71 victory over traditional basketball power UCONN Saturday night but he did steal the show, for at least a few seconds.

During the final minute of the game, UCONN head coach Dan Hurley got extremely heated on the sidelines. During his tirade, Hurley appears to yell “shut up” towards Florida State’s bench. Upon further review, it looks as though he was speaking specifically towards Cofer.

As the broadcast turns to Florida State’s bench, Cofer has one simple gesture for Hurley. He simply points at the scoreboard reminding him who is in front and who is losing.

Florida State would successfully close out the Huskies as the good guys improve to 8-1 on the season with just four games left until conference play begins.

Also of note Saturday night, Senior Guard Terrance Mann hit a milestone scoring his 1,000th point of his career. Mann tallied 20 points in 34 minutes of actions leading the way for the Tribe.

The highlight of Mann’s night came early in the second half as he threw down a reverse 180 dunk in transition following a Christ Koumadge blocked shot.

The Seminoles will take the next week off before returning to the hardwood on the 17th of December to host the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks.
