Week 11 Viewing Schedule: FSU’s Opponents

Week 11 is very important for a lot of teams, whether their trying to win their division or simply become bowl eligible.  Check out this weeks match-ups:

**All listed times are in Eastern Standard Time

**All spreads are courtesy of the Westgate Superbook

Ole Miss:

  • Who: #8 Texas A&M
  • Where: College Station, TX
  • When: Saturday @ 7:30 pm
  • Broadcast: SECN
  • Odds: Texas A&M -11

Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly is out for the season with a torn ACL.  Hugh Freeze has announced that they will be burning true freshman and prized recruit Shea Patterson’s redshirt and playing him on Saturday.  Patterson is uber-talented and he should be very fun to watch against the feisty A&M defense.

Charleston Southern:

  • Who: Libery
  • Where: Lynchburg, VA
  • When: Saturday @ 3:30
  • Broadcast: ESPN3
  • Odds: Charleston Southern -2.5

Charleston Southern will have to rebound quickly on the road against Liberty, after their tough loss to Gardner-Webb last week.

#6 Louisville:

  • Who: Wake Forest
  • Where: Louisville, KY
  • When: Saturday @ 7pm
  • Broadcast: ESPN2
  • Odds: Louisville -35

I could copy and paste this every week, simply changing the team name: Louisville seems to get a huge spread every week and somehow manage to cover it.  I don’t see Wake Forest  making this competitive but it will be interesting to see if Louisville can continue their dominant performances and work their way into the College Football Playoff.

South Florida:

  • Who: Memphis
  • Where: Memphis, TN
  • When: Saturday @ 7 pm
  • Broadcast: ESPNU
  • Odds: USF -3

USF has a tough road test this week at Memphis.  Quinton Flowers and company will have to put up some points if they want to come out of the Liberty Bowl with a win.

#18 North Carolina:

  • Who: Duke
  • Where: Durham, NC
  • When: Thursday @ 7pm
  • Broadcast: ESPN
  • OUTCOME: Duke 28, UNC 27

Miami (FL):

  • Who: Virginia
  • Where: Charlottesville, VA
  • When: Saturday @ 2:o0 pm
  • Broadcast: ACCN
  • Odds: Miami -10

Everything seemed to click for Mark Richt and his Hurricanes last week against Pitt.  It will be interesting to see if his team can build on this and play four quarters of good football and become bowl eligible on Saturday.

Wake Forest:

  • Who: #6 Louisville
  • Where: Louisville, KY
  • When: Saturday @ 7pm
  • Broadcast: ESPN2
  • Odds: Louisville -35

Wake Forest takes on the nearly impossible task of slowing down Lamar Jackson.  The Demon Deacon defense is a little banged up and Louisville should feed off the crowd at home and roll to an easy victory.

#2 Clemson:

  • Who: Pittsburgh
  • Where: Clemson, SC
  • When: Saturday @ 3:30 pm
  • Broadcast: ABC
  • Odds: Clemson -20.5

Clemson has announced that Deshaun Watson will be able to go on Saturday.  Look for Clemson’s defense to make some plays and help their limited QB out on Saturday

North Carolina State:

  • Who: Syracuse
  • Where: Syracuse, NY
  • When: Saturday @ 12:30 pm
  • Broadcast: ACCN
  • Odds: NC State -7

NC State looks to get back on track after a heart breaking loss to Florida State at home. Syracuse has already played spoiler to Virginia Tech this year and will look to do the same thing to NC State at home.

 Boston College:

  • Who: Florida State
  • Where: Raleigh, NC
  • When: Friday @ 7:30 pm
  • Broadcast: ESPN2
  • Odds: FSU -21

Check out our preview here.

Syracuse:

  • Who: NC State
  • Where: Syracuse, NY
  • When: Saturday @ 12:30 pm
  • Broadcast: ACCN
  • Odds: NC State -7

Syracuse is looking for any win they can get at this point in an attempt to become bowl eligible.  Syracuse QB Eric Dungey will have to be able to throw the ball to be successful in this game if they want to put up points against this NC State defense.

#14 Florida:

  • Who: South Carolina
  • Where: Gainesville, FL
  • When: Saturday @ 12:00 pm
  • Broadcast: CBS
  • Odds: Florida -11

Former Florida coach Will Muschamp looks to come to Gainesville and play spoiler to a Gator team that is without its starting QB Luke Del Rio.  Although Florida is favored by two scores, South Carolina is playing inspired football and has a decent shot of stealing this game on Saturday.
